Mary Byrnes~Director

Mary has been the director of Kiddie Corner Learning Center for 22 years. Mary has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Colby-Sawyer College.
Before becoming the director of Kiddie Corner, Mary worked with Autistic children and taught kindergarten at a private school in Bedford, NH. When Mary started Kiddie Corner it was owned by Ray Lemire and the enrollment was about 60 children. Over the years the school grew to an enrollment of between 110 and 135 children. Mr. Lemire was kind enough to give Mary the freedom to design the school using an up to date developmental curriculum. In 2003, Mary purchased the building and the school and made more renovations. The school has been growing strong ever since.
When not working with the children, Mary enjoys horseback riding, reading and spending time with her 2 dogs and 1 cat. Mary has an adult daughter, Amy, who recently graduated from the University of Vermont and plans on attending Veterinary school.

Kiddie Corner would not be where it is today without our many wonderful lead teachers, associate teachers, office manager and assistant director.

Madeleine Couture~Office Manager

Madeleine has been working at Kiddie Corner, in various capacities, for 12 years. She has worked in every age group and does the bus route for the school age class. Before working at Kiddie Corner, Madeleine worked at Notre Dame College in administration. She then became a stay at home mom for 7 years until starting at Kiddie Corner. Madeleine is now the office manager, conducts tours and supervises staff.

When she is not working at Kiddie Corner, Madeleine enjoys art, sewing and spending time with her 3 dogs, 2 cats and several exotic pets. Madeleine has 3 children who are now in high school and college. Her husband, Rick, works full time at a building company, and part time at Kiddie Corner doing maintenance.

Dale Tack~Assistant Director
Dale has worked here at Kiddie Corner for over 20 years and is the Assistant Director. She has a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education. She lives in Manchester, NH with her husband and two sons.

All of our teachers attend regular workshops and are required to maintain a current certificate in first aid and CPR. We hold on site workshops and attend outside workshops as well.
